UK Pen Blade Steel Question

According to the Spyderco website, as well as the info I see on a few retailer sites, the blade steel on the leaf shaped UKPK blades is BD1, but the drop point shape uses GIN-1. My problem is that I have a combo-edge leaf shaped FRN UKPK... that says GIN-1 on it. So which is it? Have the specifics changed? Is this a misprint on my blade? A typo on the website?

The lightweight started with gin-1 and has since been changed to bd1. BD1 is Carpenter's version of gin-1. bdi=gin-1
