Ukpk

You guys with a ukpk...do you get into situations alot where the blade slips closed while using? They look like great knives, i just dont know how i feel about one with no lock. I would be nervouse about it closing shut while in use. Look very similar to the caly 3 which is one of my favorite edc knives. And is the action smooth? Is it easy to flick?

The action is smooth on both of mine, and even with the half stop I can flick mine open pretty easily. At least the older models I have can also be flicked closed with an index finger, which is handy (even if ill-advised, lol.)

I have had the blade start to close a couple of times when the knife got bound up in material, but this was minor and since I use the choil I had no concern about it cutting me or anything.

And yes, they are basically lightweight Caly 3's, minus the lock. Awesome ergos.

Love the one hand opening & finger coil on these these Slipits, should have pick them up when they first came out. Excellent value for the money. Gary
