No problem, I always try to finish one up before starting on another, so I don;t end up getting in over my head, mixing up parts and such. Take Care
 
M-M... that's some fantastic work! I have skilled fingers (I've built my own SAK from parts), but I've never had the guts to rebuild one like that.

Waynorth, how did you grind that? Slack belt? I've a knife I fashioned from a DeWalt reciprocating saw blade, and I can't get it sharp because I can't grind it.
 
It was a friends 2" belt sander, with a platen. It's a flat grind, and pretty thin at the edge. I tend to be careful with my knives, so I wanted something easily sharpened, and a good slicer/cutter. But as you maybe can tell, I haven't used it since we reground it several years ago! It's still very sharp!
