Ultimate Fighter G-10 rehandle

really nice work! nice mix & match too!

it's really hard to keep the pins round like you did. when i hammer them, they mushroomed and high chance they became odd shape, not round like yours.

Thanks for the compliments. I purchased the micarta from a guy on Ebay. He didn't list anything in the correct size, but he had quite a bit of stock, so I Emailed to see if he could cut me some. He let me know what he had in the thickness I wanted, and I just picked my color. The seller's ebay id is "canmanstan". I had him cut me two pieces, and I believe they were
6x3x3/4" slabs. I just about went with a translucent jade G11. I'm pretty sure that both pieces shipped ran $30. I also Ebay ordered stainless and aluminum rod in 12" sections for around $2.50 a rod shipped. I used a grinding wheel, and a 1" bench top belt sander. I used 3/8" rod because that's the diameter of the pre-existing holes through the tang on this one. If I was going to do it again I would probably use linen micarta.

Great job. Now I'm wondering if they would consider selling just blades for us to try our skills.
