IIRC the ultimate fighter is fairly similar to the UBE, but more pointy. Might be worthwhile looking for UBE threads...

Things are quiet on the forum this week since Yangdu is away, which might be why you haven't got many responses. Hang in there and the old hands might fill you in a bit.

I've got a remarkable 1/2" thick UF; did a nic pic thread on it... year ago?

Truly a standout HI design. Plan to take it camping in place of a large ax.
