Ultimate Fighter

How is Boise, these days? I saw her 12 years ago just beginning to grow. She was a nice town 20 years ago I'm thinking.

Boise is good, better 20 years ago, like all cities, Gangs, drugs, traffic, but on a much smaller scale than SF, LA and Atlanta.
You would not reconize the valley!

Norm,

I think the Sher Attitude is here to stay. You can get one.
There will be more 'ultimate fighters' depending upon interest, I'm sure. You are not out of this game.

Cheer up, please. IT'll be OK.
Even the best collectors can't expect to be on the money every day.

You'd laugh if you knew what Id missed over the years.

I know Munk, no sweat! If I had missed it by even 10 minutes I really would be cool with it, but I hardly ever sign on that early, and I just happened to jump on simply to test my web connection and hit within 2 minutes of Yangdu's posting! I figured that it was fate, (Or Kismet if you will!)

I fired off an email and was congratulating myself on nailing it so fast, when here comes a returned mail! Doh!

That Neem attitude miss stung, just like Sassas said one time. But you're right and one will come along with my name on it one of these days. (Though if it has someone else's name on it I'm still going to try for it! :D )

I'll just grab a dozen or so HI khuks and roll up in the fetal position and suck my thumb for while, and I should be OK. ;)

(Repeat after me: I'm not addicted, I'm not addicted, you don't need another knife, stamp collecting is interesting AND fun...)

Thanks,

Norm

After the first batches of new US quarters, I stopped looking at the new pictures....

Back to the original offering, the engraving is like nothing I have ever seen from HI. Absolutely beautiful......if Aunt Yangdu was to tell us that more of these, or say, a 20" or 25" AK with those engraved dragons was for sale, I'd have to be standing in line with my money in my hand. Sorry I didn't see this one until hours later:rolleyes:

I'd be standing in line for one with a plain blade as long as it kept the 20.5" length, 1/2" spine and 45 ounce weight... Why isn't there a drool icon?

EDIT - The bladework looks similar to what is on the manjushree and dukti swords.
