The topic comes up frequently. Where can I get a good sheath for my Tramontina? I use machetes a lot in the Summer. Most of my Ontarios have cordura sheaths. But for whacking down the palmettos and general clearing, I like the fast, light Tramontinas in 18" and 22" blades. And they don't come with sheaths. So I asked Jeff of Rainwalker Creations to make me a "nice" one for my favorite 18" Tram. It took a while, but what I got was the Ultimate Machete Sheath! He even made a baldric for easy carry.

Check out the palmetto leaf tooling. He did it on both sides.

Well no way was my old beater going into this work of art. So I got a new Tram and put a polished convex edge on it.

Will I ever use it? I don't know. It hangs on my bookcase. But I do know one thing, this is the ultimate machete sheath!
 
WOW!

Outstanding work. It is amazing that the sheath probably cost 10-15 times more than the actual blade. It has to bring a smile to your face every time you resheath that Tram.
 
Very nice. I think I've found my machete sheath. (Without the palmettos though.) Baldric is really nice too.

I do not have a Machete but that sheath makes me want to go get one and a similar sheath. Just fantastic!

Oh yeah, that looks like my kind of quality sophisticated movie! Machete is bad, but not as bad as Anglo Machete Man! I take mine down to a polished 9 micron finished edge. Mexicans, school officials, and neighbors fear me. And my priest is a pagan Gothi Odin worshipper!:D That is a hilarious promo for Machete. Thanks for posting the link.

I love his concealed machetes. I just love it.
 
That is just beautiful. Fine leatherwork like that is a joy to look at. And you get to touch it and smell it, too! :)

LOL Presentation Machete!!!

That set up looks great! Now you just need to get BRKT or Justin to rehandle it in something cool for you.
