Good Afternoon,
These are prototypes for a new ultra light edc model I started working on as a custom order. The red one is 4 ounces and the green one is 5 ounces. A standard G10 Spyderco military is 4.5 ounces as a reference.
The differences between them are the red one has the handle material pulled over the guard and the green one has a bit thicker scale and more of a palm swell. I am not sure which configuration I like more. They both work well.
This blade is made from 0.140" CPM3v full flat ground to 400 grit and finished on an ultra fine scotch brite belt.
The red handle is micarta with G10 pins. The green handle is G10 with G10 hardware.
The sheath is kydex with holes spaced for a tek lok. They have a thumb ramp so its easy to draw 1 handed. They are thin enough that they carry well in a front pocket.
