I bought these recently, and now have decided to recoup some funds and move on.
The microtech does come with the box and paperwork as well (not pictured).
This was sold to me as brand new. The blade looks new. The guy packed it poorly and the knife came out of the box and bounced around against other knives in the box.
This will be the case with all 3 of these. I tried to show the imperfections, they are minor, but they are present.
The Microtech wasn't firing very good at first. I think its because it's been sitting in a box , in a safe , it's entire life. I haven't oiled it, but I kept deploying it, and now it fires pretty well. It's not perfect in my opinion, but I've never owned a microtech OTF,
so I don't know what to expect. It does NOT fire like the Phaeton. The phaeton fires hard.
The microtech got a couple of pretty good scrapes on the pocket clip, and overall a few little scrapes here and there. (see pics)
The Phaeton has a few little bruises/scrapes/knicks not sure what to call them. I tried to show it in pictures. It isn't a huge deal, but it is there if you look for it.
The Kershaw Launch 7 actually looks really good, I couldn't really find any bumps on that one.
Launch 7 - $60 shipped no box SOLD
SPECS:
Phaeton $150 shipped NO BOX SOLD
Microtech $165 shipped YES BOX SOLD
Paypal gift/friend payment please. I will package this nicely, provide tracking the same day as the purchase, and ship the same day, or the next at the latest.
I'm not really pleased with USPS right now, so these will likley ship UPS. It costs more, but you will get your knife faster.
