When I take one of these to a show I get a lot of comments like "but what do you use it for?"
Some of the things I do with mine:
Skin a deer
split fatwood
feather fatwood
Cut a pizza (I wash it first)
Split a chicken breast
Chop vegetables by rocking it like an ulu
And lots of other kitchen chores at deer camp and at home
Stock removal from 1/4 inch 5160 after it has been water jet profiled
Convex grind
Mirror finish on the grind
I put the hammer marks on the flats before I normalize and heat treat
Cocobolo handle
Hollow brass pins
Approximately 7 1/2 inches tall
Sharp part of the blade is about 3 5/8 inches
Riveted leather holster with a belt loop
