I forged this from L6 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure
Flat to slight convex grind
The handle and storage block are from curly maple that has been dyed and teated with butcher block oil
Width of the blade is. 7 1/4 inches
Depth from the top of the handle to the cutting edge is 7 inches
