...and there is that nice design on the Umfaan! Was/is there a name for the design?

That was the first year "Circles" design, it was used on the pre-production models as well.

Thanks! Is that camera angle causing slightly different colors in Circles? (sigh!) Appears the hunt is on now for a Circles Unfaan>>>:D

It is a lousy picture, the top knife has colors ranging from purple to gold, the bottom two have circles colored thumbstud blue. I'll try and take a better one for you.

OMG - all three are yours?

I am speechless! OK, maybe a few words...do you know the design names for the other two?
That is an outstanding collection!

Thanks for the kind words.

The Zig-Zag design was called just that, it is from the second year of production. That one has a blue anodized design to match the blue circles model (the only one like it I believe). The other design is from the first batch of CCG knives, it is called "Line Drive" and the design is based on a large Unique Graphic that was the first Sebenza I ever owned.

Thanks! Outstanding collection! Put me on the list if you decide to sell OR trade!

:D

What do all of you think an Umfaan would go for these days?

Ebay is not a great indicator of value...but there is one on there now (NOT mine!)

I guess we will see what the market will bare with that eBay auction Nuke (you don't mind if I call you Nuke, do you?) pointed out. It is a first year model with all the goodies, a fine example of the standard knife offered by CRK.

I have noticed that eBay has been producing higher prices for older CRK than forum sales of late. A large "P" Sebenza went for over $400 recently, while it seems they have only gone for ~$350 here in the last year.

If it had looked as nice as yours...I'd already have bid! (and kept my mouth shut till after the bidding!)

edited to add that Nuke is fine...

:grumpy: Well, I'll be darned! Somebody did a "buy it now" for the Umfaan on Ebay! I had emailed the seller and the circles had no color...but I was certainly lusting after it!
