Love the blasted finish on the pivot hardware. The rest doesn't really do it for me.
For some reason I keep thinking of a wicker basket when I see the drilled holes in the scale. The cutout for the thumbstud isn't really necessary either if you know how to open the Umnumzaan. It's just a linear pushing motion on the thumbstud along the bottom of the scale from rear to front, not an arching out-and-around motion like on a Sebenza.
