This knife returned from the Spa on Monday. The knife was manufactured in 2013 according to the birthday card. It had been not closing properly. The lock bar scale would not let the blade go far enough into the closed position to properly engage the detent ball. I called a very nice young lady at CRK who asked that I send it in for warranty.
CRK replaced the lock bar scale, as you can see by item #2 on the invoice. The lock bar scale is now dated 2017 and the presentation scale is dated 2013. They did not touch the edge on the blade. It is wicked, with a 20dps stropped bevel. I did purchase a 2nd back-spacer and screws. I like this better than the empty hole left from the lanyard pin.
There are 2 very small places on the clip that are visible in the pic. These arose from the knife being placed on my bench without a cloth beneath it. There are a couple of very small marks near the pivot screw. This happened during the installation of the back spacer.
Everything in the photos is included. I will not be shipping the grease listed on the invoice. I have several CRK knives that I carry. The grease will be used for those. The knife will also come with 2 boxes. The second one carried it back from the spa. I will include the invoice from CRK. My address and information will be blacked out on the invoice.
Now $350 PayPal goods and services. The knife will be shipped and insured to CONUS only. The first "I'll take it". followed by an e-mail will get first dibs.
