Umnumzaan owners, can yall help a new owner out?

While I'm happy the Reeve is gonna take care of the knife, it makes me a little sad that a brand new Zaan, a knife I've been trying to get for at least a year, will now be out of commission for 6-9 weeks (at least that is the timeline their website shows). Maybe they'll see that it has been opened less than 10 times, and just send a new one out, but I'm not sure how Reeve's team handles stuff like this? At least the Lynch clip will be here tomorrow, lol.

Years ago I had a brand new Sebenza with a late lock-up like that. I sent it in. They contacted me & said it was within specs. I sold it shortly afterwards. Maybe it's just me but I hate a late lock-up on a frame lock, especially on a knife only months old.

Warranty work is usually measured in days, not weeks.

I'm hoping that since we went back and forth via email with additional images, they won't say it's in spec, given the detente ball is hitting the opposite scale.

And, awesome to hear that they handle warranty work in days :)

Closing the loop here, at least for my knife, they did end up putting a new blade into the knife, just got it back today, so was pretty quick, given the wait times for new knifes. immediately put the Lynch clip on, and into the pocket it went :)
