That is really cool! My grandpa used to skrimshaw wales teeth! He was a sailor most all his life and made some beautiful pieces! In fact, I inherited some bare, unscrimshawed wales teeth. I have a box of like 7 of them sitting right behind meComes from an elephant's tusk (with CITES), https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrimshaw.
Story, for me the wolf pack is the most honest form of a community.
That is really cool man!Yes it was handmade, she is an engraver in Europe.
I’ve taken down knives with locktight and I’ve used quite a bit of it- are you sure it’s locktight? That stuff basically peels off. I’ve never had a screw where I can’t just scrap the old stuff off with my fingernail or a screw driver. So I figured out why my knife was missing the tool kit. The dumb son of a bitch that owned it before me had so much F ing locktight in the piviot and body screws he knew he would never need the tools again! Stupid people should not be allowed to have nice knives. Been soaking screws in alcohol for two hours now between rounds of scraping threads with a tooth pick. I would like to punch this F ing idiot in the throat!!!!!View attachment 1776154
My guess is some real crap thread locker. Its white and hard as hell. I literally spent 2 hours soaking and scraping the pivot screw to remove it. Don’t knife guys know about VC-3?
