I recently saw a post from Gary Graley of a combo sheath holding a large sebenza and a flashlight.
I was wondering if anyone could mimic this exact style and color but to hold a Chris Reeve Umnumzaan. Gary's sheath seems to only go to 3.3inches, but i'd like one to go 3.5inches, so it covers the indention.
As far as the combo part, i'm not too worried what the diameter is as long as i can put a Fisher Bullet space pen inside. I normally carry that or another pen on me. And i'm sure that if those will fit, then a mini mag light, or small type flashlight will fit. To be honest, i just don't know what the proper size diameter i would need.
I believe in the picture as well Gary has a celtic knot tool stamped on it, in place of that i'd like a buddhist swastika " 卍 " I know no western craftsmen will have this kind of design, but am curious to know if using two capital Z's will work? So if the letters are in block format all the lines will be straight. If you want pictures of me i have a tattoo, as well as buddhist beads with the symbol on them to show i'm not some weirdo nazi trying to get some custom racist sheath done(plus i am korean).
Whenever i visit korea and japan, there aren't many places i can find that will do this kind of work. Buddhist temples don't really carry around knives or have shops for sheaths
But i grew up in the south after i was adopted, so knife carry was always common.
I hope someone out there can help me out with the possibility, and what a price point would be for the different types of material that could be used. While i would love whatever the best material is(which i don't know what that is >.<) , i don't really have the funds for some super leather. I'm just looking for something that is slim, sturdy, and will help keep my knife safe from the crap i carry in my pocket sometimes(mainly my keys)
