I am the second owner of this Zaan. The first one didn't use it. About 50% lockup. DOB, 1/23/23. I've sharpened it to a lower angle convex, so it performs very well. It's cut one pumpkin into slices and has remained otherwise unused. Besides sharpening it to my preferences, I did lightly sand the show scale since it felt too aggressive to me. Like a dummy, I became impatient and paid $660 for this, so I know I'll lose money on this. I'm asking $450. I can't see how much these are selling for, since sellers are no longer sharing sold prices, so this is a shot in the dark. If anyone more experienced would let me know if sending it in for a spa treatment would help, I may do that and try a second time. Blessings and Happy New Year!
