Ok sorry that how it was presented to me and I am passing it on. The anodized may be done after the fact but the box does have 2015 Blade Show on it.
 
Here is my email as that is what I was told when I bought the knife as I am a newbie here and to the knife collecting, if you don’t want it no worries I am not trying to pull any wool over anyone’s eyes. I will not take less than $550 for it period.

PS - I paid more for this knife than I am selling it for.

I just last week got an email from Cameron at CRK in response to my asking about warranty and or spa on a aftermarket polish job on a Startac. He said they wouldn’t warranty scotch bright or anodizing. FYI
 
This is just a normal umnumzaan. Then someone anodized the blade and sanded down the handles. These are $450 brand new and this one has a voided warranty. You may want to highly reconsider your asking price. Also if you paid over what your asking, please for the love of god reach out to one of the many seasoned knife guys on here before you make a purchase like that again.
 
Thanks Mainecobra, for your response here but it is really not needed as I have already stated I may have over paid for the knife and I can ask whatever I want for it period and if you don't like it I don't care move along, you will be hard pressed anyway to find one anodized for $450 period.
 
Yeah except all the responses kind of were needed. they prevented someone like myself from buying something I've always wanted, thinking it's a good deal because you advertised it as one thing, when really it was just a knock off home job that voided the warranty on what most would consider a very expensive pocket knife. Most people would have been pretty pissed off if they finally took that step and spent hundreds on a knife only to find out they got duped. It's still a good knife and I'm sure someone would buy it but you should definitely just advertise it for what it is and be upfront about it.
 
If I decide to post it again it will be stated the anodized was done after the fact, I am the one that got taken, I really don’t know how many times I have to keep responding to y’all about this, I F’n didn’t know !! I wasn’t trying to screw anyone on here, I was the one that got taken and didn’t know it. So if I need to keep explaining this just keep posting and I will keep telling you truth as to what has happen.
 
It's a nice knife. I see both sides and the reason valid for inquiring and wanting to know everything as related to the warranty. I understand why CRK won't honor the warranty but sure hope they will re-blast the handles if someone wanted and just charge a fee. I had thought about doing a similar job with my Umnumzaan but the warranty thing does kinda bother me. Does it seem unreasonable a $450 knife should have a more flexible warranty especially since it has the birthcard also?
