And again, thank you. I picked that Mnandi up right here off of the exchange from Hoodep, it's my favorite Mnandi ! Now if I can just find an Ebony or Blackwood with the old nail nick.

Back on track, I have to go put the Insingo in the drawer and get the Tanto Umnum out for a little pocket time.

Well you made me feel better about having two of them(one tanto one non) maybe I don't have a problem....

I have a tanto version that I carry almost every day, it is one of my favorite knives I've ever owned. But why do you have 4 of essentially the same knife?

I like the tanto version as well!! Great question unwisefool!! But there's a very good reason (there are actually five in the photos) and number six (a left handed version) was left out. I'm one of the elite ten percent of the population who are left handed..:) Oh, yea back to your question... The answer is of course very simple my friend, I have six of them because I haven't found number seven yet!! :D

I have 3 , but every time i see one for sale on the exchange, i have to click on it to see which one it is,its condition & price. I love the zaan !

I agree with the above posts! A Star-Tac is a must have if you love the Umnumzaan, regardless of the new pivot!
 
Hey Mike, do You want sell to me one of your many Bosses with the old Pivot? I need a second one! I have one from 2010 with blue anodized Handle...I would be very happy and it gets a special place in my collection. cheers Frank

Thanks 1Hiker2!! I do, without a doubt it's my early Umnum. 10-16-08 it is absolutely MINT IN BOX. I purchased it from the estate of the original owner. I believe the first production models shipped on September 9 2008 so to be able to own one of these early first production models in mint condition is very nice.
