If it did that then the SAK scales would probably fare worse. If you're really curious though this is what those 2 dollar chinese knockoffs of swiss army knives are good for. If it doesn't eat those the real thing should be just fine.
lol, I just happened to come into a VERY large number of those. I'll be making some art with them or something I guess, after half of them melt with brake cleaner or whatever I throw at them.
I have PB'laster on hand, I'll try that first.
That Blaster stuff can also break down some plastics, though it should be fine on the stuff used to make SAK scales, I'd certainly want to clean it off thoroughly with soap and water to make sure there aren't any long-term effects. I "think" anything that isn't a styrene will be okay, but don't take my word on it
