While I genuinely love Amy-0 (in that old grandfatherly way!!!), I have to root for USC. After all, I'm an old grad -- and I do mean "old.":eek::)

Don't you think Ohio State did well in that game? I think they played their hearts out and I'm almost sorry they lost.

As for the rest of football season, I'm torn. I live in the DC area, so I really ought to cheer for the Redskins ... but the ownership has really been making that hard for a loooonnnggg time now. However, since my deceased and much-missed father loved those old 'Skins (even when they were more pathetic), I imagine I'll still "pull" for them this year.

Other than that? I'm an old military man -- you'll see me cheer for each and every one of the Academies. But then, I actually taught at the USAFA ... ;)

USC beat Ohio State once again, I love it. :cool:

Some good games yesterday, I am looking forward to a good college football season this year.

You guys don't be too hard on your skins... they lost to a very good team today. Give them some time, I'll bet they are a better team than the way they looked today.

Bummer for the Philly fans...McNabb went down with a broken rib today. 1st game of the season and your QB goes down. With the Saints on their schedule next week, they will need McNabb.

I'm just so excited to have football back!
