Una Mas

You can go totally bananna's with just about any cool hobby. It is oh so very easy to get carried away when you see all the posts and read how stoked these folks get over these blades. It is infectious. Its terribly easy to spend several thousand on these things and it can happen in a very short time frame. However, if you get a few choice blades in varying sizes and styles, they will last you a lifetime and you can easily pass on the latest greatest releases (at least most of the time). I have had dozens (literally) of them pass thru my hands but narrowed it down to the blade style and color combo's I liked best and let the rest go on their merry way with new owners. The LE sets are gone, the black/black are gone, and currently the black/tan micarta combo is my pick. I'm a user as I know you are so I don't have the safe queen sets (although they are most beautiful). The beauty of Busse is that they retain their value so well that you can play around, buy/sell, and really get a feel for what it is that you like best because if you order it and don't like it, you can get your money back when you sell it.
Besides, you make some of the coolest sheath's I have seen so you gotta have a new knife every once in a while to work with, right?

Exactly. I'm having fun with it. Its been a while since a knife lit a fire under me. The GW did that. I take it out of the sheath and grip it, put it back, take it out again. Much like the governor of NY. No viagra though.

Dialton---That's great advice! Why go overboard, unless you can. And even then, I don't know? That's why I started with the GW. I wanted an EDC fixed blade. A folder is always on me, so I wanted to try something new. Then I thought I would to progress to a bigger blade but I already have a 9" knife. It's not infi but it is a Serious blade. If one is not careful, you could easily have hundreds or thousands of dollars sitting in your drawer. I'm trying to simplify life and the knife thing. I know infi can do strange things so I'll post back when I have had a chance to hold my first piece of infi, my GW.

Andy, I am so sorry. :(

Nothing for it now ... but to enjoy it.

...and maybe wait for the inevitable zombie invasion. For that, you will need an AK. Best get one soon, before the prices start 'levitating.' :D
