Question Unable to view individual threads after logging in...

Ever since the new format to the site it's essentially unusable, every time I click a link I get a popup. And this is using my phone so it's extra frustrating, plus when I hit back it acts like I was never on here, it goes to the previous site this internet tab was on. I liked this site a lot but have stopped using it due to these pop up, it'd be nice if there were an app or some way to avoid the headache, it took me like 10 tries just to be able to click "tech support" and "post new thread" without a spam popup thing when the page loaded.
 
Is there any chance the problem is with your phone browser?

I'm typing this on my laptop while on my phone I've got my post in A Game to Play open and no popups at all.
 
I'm having the same issue. I made a post about it yesterday, I'm glad to see a few more posts today so hopefully we can get it fixed now. It's unusable like this.
 
Odd. I get on here two or three times a day on various phones with no trouble at all. Pretty sure I posted to a thread on my TracFone at lunch today.
 
every time i open the site and enter with my password the password dissapears and i see "wrong password" please enter again.i got used to it,but this site is far from perfect,the way the old site was was perfect,no problems at all.this site definately could use some upgrades!
 
It is happening to me also. Had to switch to my iPhone from my iPad. But I read that it affects iPhones too. It is a hosting issue, not a device issue.

Sorry you're experiencing difficulties, the old forum was on vBulletin software which is a great forum software but it has it's limits, so while it might have been perfect with no problems from your perspective in actuality that wasn't really the case, it's funny I was contemplating making a suggestion to upgrade shortly before it happened so I'm really happy with the change especially since it seems really competent and well polished.
 
The problem you are experiencing might have to do with both your phone browser, I do not know if Spark has re-enabled ads at this point yet. Trying a different browser or even explaining the device you re using, browser you are using, and internet service you are using helps. There is no way for anyone to know this information other than you, thus making it close to impossible to help or reply in a helpful manner.

You are not clicking the box that says "Remember Password", that is not related to ads or anything else. The old site had software that was no longer supported, kind of like Windows XP, the bugs that were there, had no fixes.
 
The browser I run TenFourFox 45.9.0 is an open source version of Firefox 52 ESR. I experience a strange problem on this web site ONLY.

I can enter the web site and can link with forum/sub-forums, seeing thread titles and their previews. I can create a thread and preview that thread. I can post the thread. Subsequent to this action my URL field shows the web page's address - for example <http://www.bladeforums.com/threads/why-does-the-nessmuk-or-simi-skinner-blade-pattern-exist.1504094/>. But the web page screen remains blank white.

I verified this problem is a universal one on this web site by opening several sub-forums, choosing randomly. I can see thread titles and previews. When I link to any thread, the URL address and blank white screen is all I see. Refreshing the web page does nothing.

Again, I report this problem only occurs on this web site.
 
Wow. That is 12 year old OS....
If you delete the cache, does it help? Also can you upgrade it to Firefox 54 equivalent?
 
I see one user has already reported this. I'm attempting to read threads on the site, in both Firefox (54.0.1) and Google Chrome (59.0.3071.115) on a Win7 system (64-bit, including browsers). If I'm logged OUT, I can view & read them. Upon logging in, I can no longer view any thread, getting only a completely BLANK, WHITE SCREEN.

Stranger still, I can POST A NEW THREAD (as I'm doing now), but won't be able to view it after the fact, at least while logged in.

What's going on??? I've tried clearing cookies in both browsers, but that hasn't fixed anything.

I could read all the posts until I registered, now nothing will show. I can't even read the post from the other person having the exact same problem.
 
I see that others have the same problem. Didn't know if more response would help. Missing my daily Bladeforums fix
 
Hopefully this isn't spaming...just adding my two cents. Same issue, verified on an iPad (Safari) and a Windows machine, on two different networks.
 
I can look at threads and photos as a lurker but as soon as I go to log in there is an ERROR message saying to reload the page but that only works if your not logged in.
 
All the sudden this morning I get a blank page when I click to view any thread on the whole forum
I can view all the forums but when I click on any thread to view I just get a blank page

Looks like I can post a new thread like this one. but I get a blank page when I click to view anything
