Amazing! I did my usual single-click linking to REPLY. No blank white page. So What is different about this sub-forum when compared with the web site's remainder?
Okay, to my reply. Among the benefits of running Macintosh computers and operating systems are longevity and compatibility. I am an involuntarily retired (MCTD kind've does a number on all who have it) manuscript editor-book designer. My essential applications and myriad nuances I've incorporated over the years, beginning in 1986, run within Macintosh OS 9.2.2. Power Mac G5s are the last Macintosh computer to run OS X 10.4.11, the last operating system to be able to run OS 9.2.2 applications. Upgrading the applications to function on newer computers and newer operating systems translates to a huge investment with no obvious benefit. Print as a medium has changed but slightly. I pity the folks involved with audio and video editing. They are pretty much forced to the opposite of my needs.
Regarding upgrading TenFourFox, I run its current stable version. When it upgrades, I upgrade.
Regarding caches, cookies, and other routine housekeeping, yep. Done. No change.
