Unbelievable Generosity of Porch Dwellers

When everyone was ordering the 2018 Forum Knife I was unable to commit to a purchase so I had to pass. Back in early August L leghog contacted me for my address because he had ordered two of them and wanted to gift one to me.
Now here's the thing L leghog and I have talked on the forum and email but the truth is if we saw each other somewhere we would not recognize each other because we've never laid eyes on each other outside of a handful of pictures posted here on the forum. However this did not stop Bill from sending me this beautiful, highly desired and valuable knife. It was in the mailbox this morning when I checked. This tells me a lot about the character of this man and so many others that hang out here on the Porch. Truth is I would never receive a gift as thoughtful and valuable from anyone in my family for Christmas, birthday, father's day or any gift giving occasion. However this type of gifting generosity is almost an everyday happening from someone to someone here.
This just makes me realize that somehow I discovered the greatest internet family in existence.
Thank you so much L leghog you have made my Christmas season my friend.
Now for the knife first of all Bill has not seen this knife as he shipped it without looking at it so I could be the first one to open it so he has no idea if I received the best of the two. It is a great one the only thing I can find is a small gap between the springs that IMO is perfectly acceptable.

To be honest, when I ordered it I was pretty sure I would give it away. Just too large for me. I'm glad you like it. Couldn't have gone to a better guy. As an aside, you received the best of the one.
