Unbelievable Generosity of Porch Dwellers

And you know what , this knife is probably now more valuable to you than anyone else's.

You are exactly right. It cut it's first thing a little while ago I bought a new recliner and cut the twine to haul it and then cut the tags off. :D

Randy, you are welcome. Just consider it your own graciousness being returned to you. Looks like you got a good one. For that I'm thankful. To be honest, when I ordered it I was pretty sure I would give it away. Just too large for me. I'm glad you like it. Couldn't have gone to a better guy. As an aside, you received the best of the one.

Bill I honestly thought you had bought two. That makes it that much more special I really can't thank you enough my friend.

Congratulations on receiving such a fine gift. Shortly after joining I noticed the mention of gifts received. And of the GAW's that happen quite regularly here. And I was quite amazed, never before had I seen camaraderie on a internet forum. Then shortly after joining, I was gifted a gold membership, and I was beyond amazed and grateful. As I'm sure most have seen in my postings I've recently been gifted 2 wonderful knives, knives I will treasure for as long as I live. Something @5K Qs Said about the generosity here is very true, something like " Sometimes the Porch doesn't seem to be part of this world" So true GT. Even though most of the world no longer seems to have any values, logging in here makes me feel better. There are still some truly awesome people in the world, I'm grateful that a good many choose to share their time here. GT's comment made me think of this old song
Here's to the Porch, when I was little and my Dad worked nightshift, we always made sure to leave the front porch light on when we went to bed. The good people here, they're leaving the Porch light on in this world, and that's a good thing.
