I was inquiring Uncle about the Village models he just got. Asking him this and that. Well, Uncle read my mind and respond:

" You better wait until you get at least one knife before you order more. I got Rusty's 12 inch Ak and will ship it to you tomorrow.

Many thanks!

Uncle"

Nice to deal with a honest seller who actually will ask me to stop buying!

I told Rusty to stop buying but he won't listen to me. I am like Rodney Dangerfield, I get no respect.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you, Ron. And don't worry. Once you get one of 'em, then two won't satisfy you for more than a week. Bought my first HI in March, and the one that should show up tomorrow will make 19 in what, 17 weeks?

Conme to think of it one week I got 3.

Oh No, Rusty. Don't tell me that now. I have had enough trouble saving $ already.

Well, my interest in Khukuri actually started more than 10-15 years ago when I first saw the Gurkha regiment in H.K. I was in a junior military training program (kind of like militarize boy scout) and saw Gurkha all the time at base and camps. I have always been impressed with their stern look , discipline, and tough built. And then of course the Khkukuri they all equipped with. Anyway, I am just glad that I can still get Khukuri are so readily avialable here in the States. My first one was bought years ago from a Gurkha in H.K. which was then stolen. Just happy to be owning two of them again soon. They will bring back some youth memories.

Ron, brother-in-law, Lhakpa spent most of his Gurkha service in HK with 10POMGR. You may have seen him but didn't know who he was, of course.
