Hell Uncle Bill, I was wondering if you had more pictures of Gorkha soldiers with their Khukuris? If possible could you post them? Or if anyone has any I would really appreciate it. Thanks again.

Why not both? Anything worth doing is worth overdoing....
I mean, pictures of you wearing both uniforms ... I mean, separate pictures. Not a single picture of you wearing both uniforms at the same time ... I guess maybe not everything worth doing is worth overdoing....
Unless it's very cold weather, maybe....

Check out the local library. There are a few books with pictures of Gorkhas/Gurkhas. I found a fairly recent book that shows a recruit becoming a soldier.
Also, the beheading of the buffalo is show in some of these books. One picture shows a standard military khukuri being used. The khukuri comes complete with a loose butt cap. The buffalo is quite small. The other book I saw has the ceromony being done with a large kora. The buffalo is also much bigger.
Because of our strong ties with Britian, our library may have a better selection in this area.
