Well the feed back from the patrol package was positive. Lots of learning, and the Khukris impressed all.
I was unable to get away as I was stuck with inter-service stuff. I presented one to a Combat Engineer in their company formation this morning, he had to chop a 4X8 in half in order to take possession. The LCpl. who also rates was on guard duty and will present hers later this week.
Sent a truck driver West as an individual augment, he selected an 18 sir, he figured since his vehicle comes equipped with an axe a more social blade would be appropriate.
1st time I was almost hugged by another LCpl. She had never shot better than low Sharp Shooter but I challenged her by telling her that I shoot left handed at the range just to prove that it is mostly basics and concentration. She shot a 43, Expert on the new KD. She ran up to me bouncing around with not all her bearing but unable to hole in her score. She thanked me profusely for getting her to shoot Expert and is on cloud nine. She may get one too.
Others are deployed already but I dont have any sitreps back that I can pass on.

ChapStik has (or use to have) petroleum products in it. It was banned from flight personnel as 100% oxygen was known to ignite it plus certain hair products, sun tan lotions, etc.
