Well, I am a martial Taoist, and we are NOT known for pacifism. Where be the bad guys?

Sad that it has come to this. I do hope that there is still a possibility for peaceful resolution of this problem, but if not.... let the chips fall where they may(sound of many Ang Kholas chopping)....

Uncle, what do I do for you?

Just found a post in another forum, now I think I know what you're talking about.

Leef the lurker reporting in for duty. I'd bet a good steak dinner that if all the lurkers who read this area everyday, but don't post, reported in it we could raise a few battalions.

Another "lurker" signing on, Uncle Bill. HI's quality and Bill Martino's customer service mean that when I want a khukuri, this is where I go.
Also of some possible interest to the forumites, I checked out GH's site and wasn't very impressed. Check out customer reviews of his "Service #1"...edge rolling right out of the scabbard, handle too small, poor temper, and it got dull chopping deadfall wood; I've seen Indian-made khuks I'd expect more from.
I also thought it was interesting that their Hanuman is the "last" being offered to the public. Hmm...I seen to remember seeing one of those somewhere else...now where could I have seen that?

Yesterday, I received a Kumar Karda that I had expressed interest in a couple of months ago. This is the third HI knife I have received. I hadn't paid for it yet, but when it arrived there was no invoice or reminder, just the unspoken trust between gentlemen that I have observed numerous times on this forum.

The product is top notch, but the service and the sense of community is unlike anything I've seen anywhere else.

P.S. I did pay for it today

I know where my vote is.

I don't know what this is all about or who the enemy is, but I do know that in all my dealings with Bill Martino I've found him to be scrupulously honest and fair, with occasional lapses into outright and extremely unbusinesslike generosity... In other words, I don't need to know the issues to know whose side I'm on; if Bill says some guy's done him wrong, Bill's word is good enough for me.

I don't know a lot about the history here but I know uncle Bill's treated me like family. even when I tried to buy khukuris second hand, got burned, got upset, and posted about it on his forum....he tried to help. HI products are first rate and so is the service. I'm with you uncle.

Glad you survived it to join us. Take a load off and relax.
