Uncle Bill's Birthday Specials.

UBBDS mean?
Uncle Bill's birthday speical.

Happy Birthday, Uncle Bill. Will burn some frankincense tonight.

______

*gasp*

GONE!?! All of them... gone. :(

For the first time, I... nevermind.

A villager movie model. Never dreamed of such a thing.   Only the scariest/best fighter in the pack (IMHHO).

And the seax.... *wipes away bitter tear* :thumbdn:

Nice snags, all of you DAYSHIFT "WORKERS" WITH INTERNET ACCESS!

Why did I change jobs?!? WHY!

Sincerely,
Ad Astra :foot:  :foot:

Wow. Village UBEs. Just add a guard, and they'd be perfect. :D

Happy Birthday, Uncle. We're alright, but you knew we would be.

The one I really liked was the silver mounted carved neem handled AK. Notice the standard bolster. I have some of the older (much more expensive back in the "old" days) silver mounted AK's, and I believe they have the habaki bolster.

P.S. Now realize what is different. That was the first carved handled AK I have seen from Sher, so whoever got it got a special one. All previous carved handled AK's came from Kumar as far as I know. Whoever got it, please post pics if you can!

Will do... Side by side with a Kumar AK too if you want... Though you'll likely get the twin to this one too...

Happy Birthday to Uncle Bill!

those that are fondly remembered are never truly gone

I missed a neem wood seax! :(

On the other hand, Happy Birthday, Uncle Bill, and thanks for all the good things you have brought and taught us. Some day, when he's old enough to understand, I'm gonna tell my son all about you.:D

Gaaah! A 12-inch Seax! If only I had to be at work a little later in the day.... Whoever got that one, I'm jealous.

In my excitement of being the first one posting AND snagging the 14" YCS Karda, I neglected to honor the reason for the wonderful deals, Uncle Bill's Birthday. Shame on my greed :(

Smoke and prayers to you uncle on your special day.

I've been out of town since Wednesday evening. Looks like Yangdu has been busy! :)

Happy birthday Uncle Bill.

But they STILL got the sheath wrong... You can console yourself with that...

Good job Mark! You know I pay fairly close attention to these deals, and I could be wrong but as far as I know that is the first YCS karda sold with a chandan handle. And a 14"er to boot! That is a couple of nice snags you have made lately.

I have to say I'm impressed by the Bura villager movie model. I didn't really know what to expect, never have seen a HI in person. It seems to be very well made. I thought it would be heavier. It has a nice thin edge. All that said, I think I'd prefer a model with a more standard tip and maybe a little more blade weight like a WWII. I think I will look to trade or sell this one.
