Sanu and the sarki with no name have recently earned "exceptional quality" bonuses and here is one of the reasons why.

This is an 18 inch Gelbu Special made and marked by Sanu that is one of the best khukuris I've ever seen -- period. It is 1/2 inch thick with perfect deep fullers which takes the weight down to a very neat 1 pound six ounces. The fit is as good as Bura can do and the finish is the typical Sanu magic stone mirror. The edge runs 58 to 59 Rc where it should be and is near razor sharp. This khukuri is almost impossible to beat in quality.

The scabbard is equal in quality to the khukuri it houses. Very good quality leather, excellent workmanship, unique tooling and nicely done of dragon and Swayambunath temple, and the HI superfrog will easily last for 100 years.

This rig is going to be the first in a series of Uncle Bill's Deal of the Day which will be an ongoing item if I can just up the inventory some.

The deal of the day will be something special at a special price for forumites only and will definitely NOT be a blem.

Take this first UBDOTD for $125 delivered to your door. That's a savings of $25 on one of the best Gelbu Specials anybody will ever see.

Call or email if interested and now I'm off to rehab.

Khukuri FAQ

Gone. I can see you are going to have to be quick on the trigger.

Brian, you have a great khukuri that will hit the air to your place today. I am almost envious.

When I get back from rehab I'll try to dig through the incoming and see if I can find no. 2 deal of the day to put up.

Many thanks and stay tuned. I couldn't even get up to head for rehab before Brian had this tagged.

PRN,
I don't think Brian will " ever" run out of money! Then we have to contend with,Tom, Blues,KOZ,,Wrong FRIEND,Vince,Burke,John,Howard, etc. Our only chance is they will get tired! " Then" we can get a break!

... 18 inch Gelbu Special made and marked by Sanu ... 1/2 inch thick with perfect deep fullers which takes the weight down to a very neat 1 pound six ounces ...
I know this GS with the mentioned specs just best suite me!

Anyhow ... Cheer up! Congratulation Brian!

Pakcik Bill --- would you please ask Sanu to make another one with the same specs + wood handle ... for me? Anyhow I prefer standard scabbard without any tooling. Would you do that for this skinny small size KhukuriKnut ... Pakcik Bill!

Now I know what best suit me ... any Khukuris weighted less than 2 lbs ... the best are those in between of 1.25 lbs to 1.75 lbs ... I guess Sandy also has the same preference as me!

NEPAL HO!

Thanks for all the kind words, folks. I was out of town for a few days & had asked Bill to hold off on sending this for a bit. I'm hoping that it will show up either today or tomorrow & I'll write up my initial impressions when I do.
