How many of you guys out there have an Uncle Henry #877UH. IMHO it is the greatest small game knife for cottontail and squirrel ever made bar none. Wouldn't mind seeing a carbon steel schrade model, though. Schrade mfr. are you listening? Where can I get more of these as they have been discontinued.

Your right, these Uncle Henry's are useful in many aspects of everyday life. I recently carried a 897UH and it is sheeple friendly and useful for many functions on the farm or in the office.
Enjoy!

Bass,
If it's been discontinued, then you might find it if you search E-Bay. Do a search for "Schrade knife", or "Uncle Henry knife". They usually have 4 or 5 pages of Schrade knives at any given moment.

I don't think this knife has been discontinued.
I had one and LOVED the shape, blade selection and size. The rounded bolsters and turkish clip blade made it a true favorite. But I wasn't a huge fan of the steel and kept thinking, it's a great knife, but .... I'd rather have carbon steel or a better grade of stainless ... I'd rather have wood or bone handled.
As far as design goes, it is my favorite pattern for a traditional folder, bar none.

Yes, the 877UH was discontinued. The Uncle Henry line is not as well known as Old Timers, but it does offer some distinct differences. All Uncle Henry's have stainless steel blades. The Staglon handles are very good looking, yet the knives are reasonably priced and a great value. What is often forgotten or over-looked about Uncle Henry's is their one year loss claim guarantee. If a consumer, who buys an Uncle Henry, simply completes and mails in some very brief forms and procedures enclosed with the knife, and then looses his/her knife within the next year, we simply replace the knife at no charge. No other manufacturer has this type of offer.

Oops, my mistake. I thought bass1 meant the 897UH.
