Recommendation? Uncle Henry stockman modern alternative

You will have to let us know what you think when it gets there!
I would have, but they canceled my order. Apparently their CC verification company did not like that the billing and shipping address aren't in the same country. Not the first time that this kind of thing happen.

So I ordered a Case pocket worn medium stockman from Amazon; at least amazon like my money 😂
I have 30 days to send it back if the quality is too bad.

As long as the fit and finish is good you should like it. If not, send it back and try again!

Well, got my Case pocket worn stockman in mediteranean blue today. It's not perfect, but then again it is a mass produced knife, not a handmade custom.

The good.
No blade rub, all 3 blades fits neatly and tightly in there. Fit on the spring to spacer and bolster is just about perfect, can't see the light of day in between, so are the scales. The pull is quite light, but smooth, and no blade play. Grinds on the blades are smooth and even. The inside of the knife is clean, it's also a quite attractive knife if I may say so.

The bad.
Firstly, none of the blades cut at all, so it can't be called a knife until I sharpen them; the main blade even has a gigantic burr all along the edge. Then when they made the jigged pattern on the handle, they hit the bolsters in 3 places; it's not shocking, it's barely visible depending on the light angle, but I'll always know it there. Lastly, one of the blade pivot pin is visible in the bolster; again, not shocking, but I'll always know it's there.

For a user knife, it will more than do the job, so it's a keeper.

I'm glad you like it enough for it to be a keeper! Case, and really a lot of companies for that matter, seem to leave heavy burrs on their knives. Luckily, that can easily be sharpened out. Enjoy!!
