Do I have this right? The basic gist of 2 of the latter entries is that nobody on the forums is to be trusted if they say a knife they have to trade or sell is NIB or Mint? And that anybody who would trust another is stupid or naive?
I'd like to think differently. Thus far, everybody with whom I've dealt on the forums has been scrupulously honest, except 1, in describing their knives. Given the track history of the knife in question, I felt I had to give the 1 other the benefit of the doubt.
It is great to support one's friends. But, I think this effort has turned into something that carries great potential to seriously damage future interactions between forumites, and therefore the forums. WHile the support may be your goal, the impact of your postings carries a great potential for making people mistrust others -- as well as you.
