Underrated knives

I second the Falcon Knives...They are well made Italian knives in many different styles and are very well made for the $$$$

Spyderco Centofante 4.

Sleek, thin wharncliffe blade, great ergonomics, simple, gets ultra-sharp.

Nice shot of the SOG Field Pup. Great knife. Gave my nephew one for Christmas last year.

I think SOG knives in general are far under rated. I have a number of them and they are all good.

What about the Outdoor Edge - Magna ? Aus 8A , zytel and incredible lockup for a linerlock.
Price was good on them and still is if you can find one.

Agreed! I have the aluminum handled version and it's a great knife.

Lakota fixed and folding blades in AUS8A are spectacular values. A little heavier than most but great field knives.

I have an early 1980s Wee'Hawk folder that was acquired when Target phased-out their original sporting goods departments. It's about the strongest folder I've ever seen, and even though it's really thick, it is a surprising good slicer after reprofiling the edge.

I completely agree on Lakota being great knives and value. My Legend is a great slicer, and its F&F are what you'd expect from a Moki knife.

Another great knife I don't see mentioned all that much is the Kershaw Avalanche. I've said this before, but for its price you get S30v, G-10, and AO. Truly one of the best folders I own, and sees more pocket time than my beloved Sebbie, or ZT knives.

I got a Bob Dozier Kabar Folding Hunter Lockback with an AUS8 blade. Very durable and the blade stays sharp forever. Nothing flashy just a great all around knife for $20.00.

I'M GONNA THROW THE A.G.RUSSELL ONE HANDED KNIFE IN THE MIX HERE....(sorry all caps).......Iv'e had one for about 10 years..It was VERY inexpensive, You can open and close with one hand, It cuts like a demon and weighs like.....a feather.....If it fell apart tomorrow it cost me like $2.20 a year...Not a bad deal at all.
Spyderco would be in there also...And Mora...You can kill an Ox with a $7.00 Mora...LOL

I'll have to agree with Capt. Carl about the Centofante 4, it is a great knife that is hardly ever mentioned. I'll also throw in the EKA Masur folder. I love this knife... it is gorgeous, 12c27 steel, ergonomic and very easy to keep sharp.

I think Busse knives are not actually too bad, I'm not saying they are as good as CRKT or even Coldsteel, but for the money they are ok !!!:D

You're not the first person I've heard say that... I may have to check them out.
