Today at the gun show i saw someone who looked familiar, then i realized he was Don Mayer, a knife maker in an article of blade magazine a few months ago, i walked up and introduced myself and we talked knives for a little over an hour, his knives were amazing, and even more amazing than that was the fact that he made them with prosthetic hands. The fit and finish of his knives was awesome and he was a nice guy in general, point is after a great conversation i left the table with a beautiful new damascus knife (my first handmade knife purchased and my first damascus knife). i love it.
