Entered into a trade with this member about a month ago and have still not received my knife.
Trade was my Boker s2 for a CRKT heiho both in good condition. I had shipped mine out on Feb 7th and he was supposed to ship his out the next day I believe and has failed to do so.

After a long drawn out conversation I gave a few extensions to when I would be fine with the knife arriving without making a post on here but as of a week ago I have received no emails back and it seems as though I have lost contact with this individual. Even though this is over a 35$ knife this is still frustrating. I have never had this happen before and so here comes the newbie question, Anything I can do other than A) chalk it up to a loss or B) hope that he EVENTUALLY sends it?

Any advice is appreciated.

Have a good day, be safe, and enjoy whatever you EDC,

Nick

Hope you get the knife. I know even for such a "cheap" knife, sitiuations like that are still frusturating. It baffles me what some people are thinking sometimes......especially since he was on here 8 days ago, so it's not like he fell off of the earth.

Never trade with anyone having that screen name- Unicorns Are For Men. Really, none of my buds are into Unicorns. Well, not since being 5 yo.

It's besst not to trade with someone that is so painfully new to the forums. This is exactly why Spark changed the trading forum to paid members only, no other reason than the amount of people getting ripped off. Adding alarms and locks to the home doesn't stop burglars when the occupants leave the doors and windows open all day long.

Yeah, honestly It's been a while since I've been on before today and I had been paying less and less attention to things being updated on here because I've been busy, so I didn't know that trades was changed to paid only. If this never gets resolved I'll just take it for what it's worth, live with the sad fact that it's not worth trusting the newbies and at least be grateful that it was only a cheaper knife and could have been worse.
