Hey all.....I used to be big into listening to the police scanner when I sat at home doing nothing. Now that I have a child, I have no time to listen.
I bought this unit over 1 year ago to replace another scanner I had & I used it about 5 times. It is still in new condition & I have the box & everything for it still. I never had taken off the plastic protective covering off of the display.....though it is falling off a little over time. Unit works perfectly & there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. As I said....you can't tell it from new. Listen to whoever you want! Police, airplanes, tow truck drivers, drive through windows, cell phones, home phones, trains, cabs, tv, weather channel, ambulance service....anything that's a radio, you can pretty much pick up on. There are frequency ranges that it can't get, but there is a whole bunch that you can!
