Normally I always bought this kind of material from USA but the price plus shipping and tax is quite pricey for me.

I just found that there are some unidirectional carbon fiber stock sold here. The price is very good. 150usd for 19" x 15" 0.19" thick. I'm not sure if this material will looks as great as common twill CF or if it will looks great enough to worth a try.

Anyone have experience on this material?

unicarbon is decent to look at especially when you see all the layers when its contoured. its a way different look than the cross hatch carbon fiber pattern. i have not worked with it at all, but seen a few knives made with it.

Unidirectional is my favourite. When I make my own blocks, I unweave the cloth and stir it up.

I think there's a WIP, buried in the stickies somewhere that involves making your own unidirectional cf. If you're interested in making it yourself.
