Anyone have a copy they're willing to sell?

I was thinking about buying these plans a few years ago, but never got around to it. I just checked the maker's website: http://www.unigrinder.com and it's expired, so I guess he isn't selling them anymore.

It was interesting to see that the late great Bob Lum used these grinders exclusively and built them himself.

Here's a picture of his grinders from his website, those look like 14" wheels?

He will be missed.

If the man who has the handle "plain ol bill" is still on the forum, he built one, had pics too. good luck.

That's what those things are. The guy that first taught me to grind has one of them, he would do a flat grind on the 14" wheel then clean it up on a vs horizontal disk sander, I think George Herron used to make knives like that. I didn't learn much about grinding from him but did learn a lot about fit and finish.

The guy who designed the Unigrinder is Rich Sweet. I just spoke to him on the phone and he is still selling plans. His pone number is (707) 764-3626 He no longer has a web site though.
