Union Garage Robinson Jacket. Condition is Pre-owned. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Comes with d30 armor for shoulders, elbows, and back. This was made by Vanson Leathers of Fall River mass and sold and made for union garage

We named this new jacket after the Jackie Robinson Parkway, an 80-year-old, five-mile-long stretch of patched-over pavement that winds its way from the eastern edge of Brooklyn to the heart of Queens. Formerly called the Interborough Parkway and known to some as the Queens Autobahn, this narrow thoroughfare is often thronged with bigger and faster cars than what it was originally designed for.

And even during the odd hours when it’s clear of traffic, its blind curves and crumbling road surface make it one of the most dangerous roads in the city.

One of the most important features of this jacket is impossible to see. Hidden leather panels behind the Robinson's shoulder and elbow caps provide a critical layer of extra protection. The Robinson's rugged 10.10-ounce Martexin waxed cotton shell provides a water-resistant barrier that breathes well, is built to last, and only gets better with age. It's what makes the Robinson such a great everyday jacket. But waxed cotton alone doesn't last forever in a slide. The leather-reinforced shoulders and elbows significantly boost abrasion resistance at the these critical contact points.

In addition to its technical features the Robinson includes a number of subtle creature comforts. Note the smooth sateen sleeve liner, and the supple leather facing that extends from the collar to the hem, bracketing the jacket’s bright red plaid interior. The same leather trim is also used inside the sleeve cuffs for added comfort, and to create a windtight seal when snapped closed.

Besides safety and style, the Robinson also offers a bevy of practical features. Anyone who’s ever ridden a motorcycle with cargo stuffed down their shirt will appreciate the generously sized rabbit pocket built covertly into the back of the jacket. Accessed by discreet side zippers on either side of the jacket, this massive passthrough pocket can hold a pair of gloves, an extra layer, or an entire Sunday New York Times if needed. And that’s just one of this jacket’s seven pockets, which include two secure inside pockets big enough to hold a wallet or phone, and a diagonal chest pocket smartly positioned for easy access without letting go of the throttle.

The Robinson jacket was built specifically for city riding, where speeds are generally lower and the chance of impact—especially in New York City—is generally higher than your average suburban outing.
Shipped in conus only please $400

How is the fit? Does it run large or small? What size are you, and how does it fit on you?

I runs true to size. I’m a medium and it’s too large on me I bought a medium and it fits me just right.
