Unique Deploying Knifes

What about those CRKT rolllock things, where you push down on the blade and the tip pops up and you slide it into position.

ah... that makes sense. I just find it funny how bali lovers like them because they open so fast when a simple liner lock manual folder opens almost instantaneously

We don't love them just because they are fast, as there are plenty of fast one handers these days. People love their Balisongs because they have one of THE strongest and most dependable designs of any folding blade.

And of course because in skilled hands they so much more than just useful, they are beautiful, fun, challenging, and just cool! :D

I do own a few bali's myself and I'm quiet fond of them. I wouldn't say i'm
a master flipper but, I do like to spend some time here and there. I don't
think I could say the same about it loving me though (points at cuts all over hands) :p but I must agree with you there that I trust my balisong will
never close on my hands, but then again I don't intend on stabing somthing
where I would require that strong of a lock. :)

CRKT glidelock. it is so cool it won most unique locking mechanism at blade, or something like that.

Check out the Pro Tech Ciabatta. There's also the A.G. Russell Funny Folder. Robbie Dalton had a bunch of different firing mechanisms for his autos.

i want a janisong so bad!, hopefully spyderco will start to make them soon, i would imagine it would be a huge seller

It's going to be aimed at the balisong community and it will be legal
so i'm guessing it will be :] in any case I'm going to get one right when they
hit the shelves :cool::thumbup:

I would think it would sell very well in the bali community but i think it would sell well with the non bali people as well, its supposed to be safer, it looks to me like its a bit more traditional as far as carrying it, and its legal...so it should appeal to the people who would like to flip a knife around but are concerned that its illegal and unsafe...but i could be wrong hahah but im def gonna pick one up as soon as it comes out :D
