Hello dear brothers,
Fresh out of the shop i proudly present a new unique, luxury puukko. With a very aggressive design, a powerfull razor sharp blade and an exclusive composition handle this was build for it's owner to be proud it wears it on it's belt.
The app 4.33" O2 core San Mai blade wears a hybrid puukko/fighter design with a razor sharp scandi zero grind an a false edge on the spine that accentuate it's aggressive look. The acid etching makes it 'the shadow' needed in this overall luxurious and shiny setup.
For the handle i choose a combination of precious materials worked with care and associated in such order to compliment the blade. The bolster is made out of Nikelsilver/brass Mokume Gane which was tightly fitted by hand and buffed to a superb finish. A titanic work was invested into this piece from the forge diffusion welds to manually carving the tang channel.
The next piece of the setup is a deep etched 'ring' of Homemade multi layer damascus which again by itself carries lots of work and time invested into detailing it's shape and etching; it's role is to somehow balance blade's appearance and bring a little 'light shadow' into the brightness of the other buffed components.
The main body of the handle is a hybrid of the unique European 'Yew eyes', something that i can almost say you will never find anywhere else beside my other knives made with it (at least i could not find one on the internet
), A grade Gabon Ebony and thin shiny buffed brass. The pommel of it wears a nice piece of my golden, buffed 'black hole' mosaic pins.
If anyone interested in this blade, it's price is 475 usd (please add 65 usd for a nice vegetable tanned thick ox leather sheath made by my lovely wife to compliment this blade - o request).
