Is it me or is this UC laser cut serration stuff weird. First they say it cuts more smoothly than scalloped searrations, OK, but then it also says it's not for rope or other fibrous materials.
I've seen the ads for the Colt knives and I've read about the Colt Cobra in the current issue of TK, but I still say that those laser cut serrations serve no useful purpose other than looks. The whole point behind serrations are to aid in cutting rope and other fibrous material.
I had to buy one at a flea Market in Florida!!! Glad I only paid 25 bucks. USELESS!!!!!!! I let my 15 year old try to widdle a small soft wood twig. Those Laser cut serrations just got bunged up with fine slivers of wood and the knife was worse than the sharp point of the soft wood stick that he had to finish with his swiss army knife. What a sales pitch. Looked pretty, but is really pretty SH*TTY...Junk drawer.......wolf
