I was buying a custom Hawk on Ebay and came across this it looks to be a knockoff of a RMJ but in AUS steel and a poly handle $40. Of cource they seem to be taking the intell property of RMJ and I fear this will only get worse with company like this.

That's funny - when we saw the ad we thought it was more of "tomahawk by committee" - it seems to borrow a little from everyone.

I work in the fireams industry and its pretty bad like this but knives are worse and tomahawks are worse than that even.

Seems like. The handle is definitely SOG-inspired. The profile of the blade looks a bit like the K-5 and the head-handle junction is similar to the CS Trench Hawk. And the blade grinds from RMJ, of course.

I have to admit however, that this kind of eclecticism appeals to me more than blatant copying. With all their "inspiration" they arrived at a pretty cool albeit mall-ninja-ish design.
