A few of us here own the CS Gurkha but most of us prefer using the H.I. over the CS. The 18" WWII is similar in size and weight to the CS Ghurka but the blade profile is very different. In fact my 16.5" and 18" WWII will fit in the same sheath as the CS Gurkha. The WWII is blade is not as wide and thicker. The H.I. WWII rarely binds, tougher blade, tougher handle, less handle vibration, and when the 18" model is considered a much superior chopper. The CS model cuts better (wide blade), harder steel, and much pointer tip.
