I was just looking through some of my older knife books, when I came upon a Canadian maker named Adam Smith in Knives '84 (Pg.226,227). Has anyone handled this makers work? From the photo it looks pretty good.
Never got a chance to see his work, and wasn't around when I started getting into customs earnestly in the late 80's early 90's. I do remeber those pic's and had him on my list of people to contact.
The Canadian Connection Forum would probably be a better place to get info on a Canadian maker. I would guess that 1984 was the last year he made a balisong as they became a prohibited weapon in Canada during 1985 if I remember correctly.
