I posted more pics of the Needs Work in another thread, but here is some more knife p0rn for ya'll! My Groove, Needs Work, and Boron Leek. I carried the Groove all day yesterday and today, and my fav Leek got jealous!

that boron leek is quite elegant. the groove is interesting. played with one at the knife show. the grooves kinda turn me off to it. still nice. whered ya get that leek?
 
Gary, great Mini-Cyclone shots! I don't know how much longer I'll be able to keep from buying one.

Jeremy, the boron Leek is really nice, the finish makes it look like the whole thing is made of hematite.
 
A little more old Kershaws. There were some great knives in that years (~99-2001) unfortunately I "catched" just several.

In your phots - second one - 3 black handles - what are the bottom 2 - I checked the Kershaw site and I didn't see them. Are they still made? Those are my two favorite blade shapes.

Those are the "Random Task" and the "Mini Task" first Ken Onion Kershaws, They have been discontinued since around 2000 or so. I think they will be producing some Random leeks in the future, similar blade style.

Jeremy, where the heck do you get the Midtech KO's? I can't find info on them anywhere other than the odd picture on his site?

Nice set of knives, by the way!

Did the thumbstud on the 1597 come that way? All of mine are black (is it one of the first few?)

I really like the scales (looks) on the 1 of 500 Spec Bump better than the current version.

KO customs are purchased directly from Mr. Onion himself. Try www.kenonionknives.com

I wish they were my knives, but i just have the picture.

The polished thumbstud is on the custom Offset, and not offered thru Kershaw, probably.
